What it is

Tutto Italia occupies the front building of the Italy pavilion with a formal interior of murals and draped ceilings, plus a shaded courtyard patio. It is the grown-up counterpart to Via Napoli behind it: quieter, slower, with tablecloths and a wine list that is taken seriously.

The menu is pasta-forward with a handful of meat and fish entrees. The house-made pastas are the strength, and the kitchen does a better lasagna and a better carbonara than the pizzeria next door does anything besides pizza.

Prices are high even by World Showcase standards, and portions are restaurant-sized rather than theme-park-sized. Go in expecting a real Italian restaurant check and it makes sense; go in expecting a big plate of noodles for twenty dollars and it will not.

Our verdict

Good Italian cooking at a real Italian restaurant price, and a genuinely calm room — but if you are only eating in Italy once, Via Napoli next door is the better meal.

What to order

The dishes this kitchen is actually known for. Menus change seasonally, so treat this as what to look for rather than a guaranteed list.

  • Lasagna alla Bolognese
  • Spaghetti alla Carbonara
  • Chicken parmigiana
  • Tiramisu

Tips for Tutto Italia Ristorante

  • Ask for the courtyard patio in cooler months. It is shaded, quieter than the interior, and looks out at the pavilion rather than at a wall.
  • The wine list is one of the deepest in World Showcase and the servers know it. Ask for a by-the-glass recommendation instead of defaulting to the house pour.
  • Lunch is the value play — nearly the same menu at lower prices, and the room is at its calmest.
  • The connected wine cellar, Tutto Gusto, takes walk-ups and serves small plates from the same kitchen. That is the way to eat this food without a reservation.
  • This is the best table in World Showcase for a solo diner. The bar area is comfortable and nobody rushes you.

Tutto Italia Ristorante: common questions

What is the difference between Tutto Italia and Via Napoli?

Tutto Italia is the quieter, more formal pasta and entree restaurant at the front of the pavilion. Via Napoli behind it is the loud family pizzeria. Same operator, very different meals.

Can you eat at Tutto Italia without a reservation?

The main dining room usually requires one on a busy day, but Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar next door takes walk-ups and serves small plates from the same kitchen.

Is Tutto Italia good for kids?

It is fine but not aimed at them. The room is quiet and formal, the meal is slow, and Via Napoli next door does everything a family with young children actually wants.

Is there outdoor seating?

Yes, a shaded courtyard patio that is genuinely pleasant from late autumn through spring and much less so in midsummer.
