What it is
Rose & Crown is the dining room attached to the United Kingdom pavilion's pub, serving fish and chips, bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, a cottage pie, and sticky toffee pudding, with a full bar of British ales and ciders. The interior is styled as three connected rooms in different regional pub traditions.
The terrace is what people book for. It sits at the water's edge on the lagoon with an unobstructed line across to the far pavilions, and it is the most requested outdoor seating in the park. Getting one is a matter of booking a late seating and asking, and being told no more often than yes.
The food is competent pub cooking. The fish and chips are decent, the sticky toffee pudding is genuinely good, and nothing here is going to change your understanding of British food. That is fine — this restaurant sells atmosphere and a view, and it does both well.
