The Crystal Palace is a Victorian glass conservatory on the hub side of Main Street, modeled on nineteenth-century exhibition halls, and it is the prettiest dining room at Magic Kingdom by a wide margin — high glass roof, palms, light flooding in from every direction.
It serves a buffet at all three meals with characters from the Winnie the Pooh stories circulating between tables. The character interaction is the product here: performers come to you, they spend real time at each table, and you eat while you wait rather than standing in a queue.
The food is buffet food and it is fine. Breakfast is the strongest service — the standard American spread done competently, with a make-your-own station. Lunch and dinner add carved meats and a broader hot line and are less consistent.
You are paying for the room and the characters, not the buffet. As a way to bundle four character meets into a seated meal it is a genuinely good deal; as dinner it is not.
