Lamplight Lounge opened with Pixar Pier in 2018, replacing Ariel's Grotto, and it is the most successful restaurant conversion this park has done. The conceit is a hangout for Pixar animators, decorated with concept art, models and in-joke props from the studio's films, and the details reward reading rather than glancing.
There are effectively two venues under one name. Upstairs is a lounge with bar seating and tables; downstairs is a larger dining room opening onto a deck over the water. Both take the same reservation and both serve the same menu.
The kitchen is doing gastropub food with more care than the format demands — good burgers, decent fish, sharp seasonal vegetables — and the bar program is the second best at the park after Carthay Circle. Prices are firmly in the splurge bracket but the portions are large enough that a table of four sharing plates eats well without ordering per person.

Our take: Expensive and worth it if three or four of you split it. There is real lobster on it, which is not something you can say about most theme-park seafood.

Hard. It goes within minutes of the 60-day window opening for dinner. Lunch and mid-afternoon are somewhat easier, and upstairs bar seating is released as walk-up throughout the day.
