Paradise Garden Grill serves marinated skewers — chicken, beef, or a vegetable option — with rice, salad and sauces, from a counter set into the gardens off Paradise Bay. The menu has carried different regional framings over the years, but the format is consistent: grilled protein, starch, greens, sauce.
The food is better than the location's obscurity suggests. Skewers are grilled to order rather than held, the rice is seasoned, and the plates are gluten-free by default, which makes this one of the easiest places at the park for a guest who cannot eat wheat.
The real asset is the seating. The garden tables here sit under mature trees with the Paradise Garden Bandstand a few steps away, which makes this the most pleasant place to eat outdoors at the park by a wide margin.
