What it is

The Milk Stand is a small canvas-roofed booth selling exactly two things plus their spiked variants: blue milk and green milk. Both are frozen, plant-based blends built on coconut and rice milk, so they are dairy free and vegan without any special ordering.

Blue is the sweeter of the two, with tropical fruit notes and a texture closer to a smoothie than a milkshake. Green is more polarizing: citrus-forward, sharper, with a finish some people find floral and others find soapy. Regulars are split fairly evenly, which is worth knowing before you buy two of the same one.

It is a small stand with no seating and a line that regularly runs longer than the drink deserves. Mobile order exists and skips most of it.

Our verdict

Worth trying once for the novelty and the fact that it is genuinely vegan, but it is a $8.49 fruit smoothie and the queue is often out of all proportion. Mildly overrated.

Tips for Milk Stand

  • Both are vegan and dairy free as standard, which makes this one of the few no-questions-asked stops in the park for those diets.
  • Buy one of each and share. Green is genuinely divisive and buying two greens on a guess is how people end up throwing one away.
  • Mobile order it while you are walking into the land; the pickup window is far faster than the standby line.
  • They melt fast in Florida heat. Do not buy one before joining a long queue.
  • Repeat visitors: the spiked versions use different spirits for each color and the green one is the better cocktail, which reverses the usual preference.

Blue Milk

Milk Stand

$8.49

A frozen plant-based blend built on coconut and rice milk, sweet and tropical, with a texture closer to a fruit smoothie than a milkshake.

Our take: Mildly overrated as a landmark but genuinely useful as a vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free drink you can hand to anyone. Try it once, share it, and do not queue twenty minutes for it.

Green Milk

Milk Stand

$8.49

The second frozen plant-based milk at the same stand, citrus-forward and sharper than the blue, with a floral finish that people either love or actively dislike.

Our take: Genuinely divisive, and better than blue if you like a sour drink. Buy one of each and share rather than gambling on two of the same.

Milk Stand: common questions

Is blue milk dairy free and vegan?

Yes. Both blue and green milk are frozen plant-based blends built on coconut and rice milk, with no dairy and no gluten. No special ordering is required.

What does blue milk taste like?

Sweet and tropical, closer to a fruit smoothie than a milkshake, with a slightly grainy frozen texture. Green milk is sharper and citrus-forward and divides opinion much more strongly.

Blue or green: which should you get?

Buy one of each and share. Blue is the safe crowd-pleaser and green is genuinely polarizing, with a floral finish that some people love and others actively dislike.

Is it worth the price?

As a novelty, once. At around $8.49 for a small frozen drink it is expensive even by park standards, and the queue frequently runs longer than the product justifies. Use mobile order.
